Charice Pempengco (ชารีซ เพ็มเพ็งโค) ชื่อเต็มคือ Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco เป็นสาวนน้อยชาวฟิลิปปินส์ เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 10 พ.ค. 1992 ตอนนี้ก็อายุประมาณ 17 ปี คนทั่วโลกรู้จักเธอในชื่อ Charice โด่งดังสุดๆ ก็ตั้งแต่ปลายปี 2550 ที่ตอนนั้นเธอได้ไปออกรายการ Star King ของเกาหลี ร้องเพลง “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” ซึ่งเป็นเพลงประกอบหนังเรื่อง Dreamgirls (ที่ผู้หญิงผิวดำร้องแบบแหกปากๆ หน่อยหน่ะ) แล้วมีคนอัพโหลดวีดีโอเทปรายการนั้นขึ้นยูทูบว์ เท่านั้นแหละ แม่เจ้า ชีดังเป็นพลุแตก คืออารมณ์ประมาณ เหมือนดูเธอลิปซิ้งนะยะ เพราะหน้าตาของชีออกแนวเด็กๆ เอเชีย เด็กเกาหลี โนเนะ อะไรแบบเนี้ย แต่พลังเสียงของเธออลังการล้านแปด นึกว่าเปิดแผ่นซีดีต้นฉบับซะอีก ภาพที่เราเห็นกับเสียงที่ได้ฟังมันขัดกัน มันเลยดึงอารมณ์คน ทำให้เกิดความประทับใจในความสามารถของเธอคนนี้ ไม่รู้ว่าไปขุดพลังเสียงมาจากไหน เรียกว่านักร้องดังๆ ระดับโลกหลายคนยังทำไม่ได้แบบเธอก็แล้วกัน ไม่มีหลุดคีย์ ไม่มีคำว่าร้องไม่ถึง จะเอากี่ชั้น กี่จังหวะบอกมาได้หมด ไม่รู้เธอแอบหายใจตอนไหน บางเพลง ร้องขึ้นไปจนสุดแล้ว ยังต่อได้ไปอีกหลายชั้น เรานึกว่าจะสุดแล้ว อ้าวต่อไปอีก อึ้งค่ะ บอกไม่ถูก เหมือนเธอซ่อนลำโพงแบบควบคุมได้ไว้ในคอหน่ะ แต่ที่อึ้งกันไปทั้งโลกก็คงเป็นเรื่องพลังเสียงของเธอนั่นแหละ อะไรมันจะทรงพลังขนาดนั้น อ่านส่วนที่เหลือ »
